Dr David Wilke is a Senior Policy and Research Advisor at the Bureau of Meteorology. David is a meteorologist with a background in research and operations. He has worked across a range of severe weather forecasting roles, including as embedded meteorologist within the emergency services during high impact weather events. His research focusses on severe weather, warnings and impact prediction. David has a PhD in fluid dynamics.
