About
Dr Carla Mooney is the Manager of Social Science and Service Policy in Decision Support Services of the Bureau of Meteorology. She has a breadth of experience in applied social research across the public sector, research and consultancy and has been with the Bureau for 12 years. Carla is a member of the AFAC Warnings Group and is Co-Chair of the Social and Economic Research Working Group of the World Weather Research Program. Carla holds a PhD in Environmental Law and has post-graduate qualifications in Environmental Planning and Law.
