Cameron Henderson is a research scientist in the High Impact Weather team in the Bureau of Meteorology's Research Program. Cameron has spent much of his career in the Bureau of Meteorology Training Centre as a lecturer on the Graduate Diploma in Meteorology, teaching atmospheric dynamics, thermodynamics and cloud microphysics. Prior to that he spent several years as an operational meteorologist in the (then) NSW Regional and Canberra Meteorological Offices, including the severe weather section. Cameron's PhD in Meteorology from Monash University investigated summer heatwaves and heavy rainfall in southeastern Australia.
