About
Paul Fox-Hughes leads the High Impact Weather team in the Australian Bureau of Meteorology's Research Program. Paul has spent a large proportion of his career as an operational meteorologist and operational forecast manager, again with a focus on high impact weather. As such he has a particular interest in the application of his and others' research in this area. He has also worked in the United Kingdom Met Office Operations Centre as a forecaster, and as a Research Fellow at the Australian Antarctic Climate and Ecosystem Co-operative Research Centre applying regional climate modelling to projections for future fire weather.
