Michael Rumsewicz has a passion for research utilisation and ensuring the investment in science and research translates into greatest impact for the sector it is intended to support. He has over thirty years of international experience, including extensively collaborating with the fire and emergency sector since 2013, mostly working at the interface between research institutions, industry and government.
Michael has written over 40 refereed journal and conference articles, has two patents granted, and has been a reviewer and organising and programme committee member for a number of international conferences.
