About
Anthony Kent is a researcher with the Centre for Urban Research, RMIT University, Melbourne. He is co-editor and chapter author of the recent Academic Press publication, Smart Cities for Technological and Social Innovation: Case Studies, Current Trends, and Future Steps and lead author of the book chapter ‘Planning for Resilience in Bandung: Case Studies of Local Disaster Management Strategies’ which appears in The Routledge Handbook of Urban Indonesia. He is also Associate Editor of Urban Policy and Research, which is a leading urbanist journal in Australasia and Asia. Dr Kent is an economic geographer with a continuing focus on urban and regional settlement patterns and he incorporates social, economic and environmental implications in his research and teaching.
