Mardi Reardon-Smith is an anthropologist and Research Fellow at Deakin University whose research explores the social dimensions of environmental management, particularly in relation to rangelands and protected areas. Her work addresses environmental management both inside and outside of formal conservation structures, Indigenous-settler relations, and human-plant relationships, in terms of both invasive species and medicinal plants.
