About
Lachlan is a sociocultural anthropologist and community practitioner living on Wathaurong country in Victoria. Lachlan has significant experience working with and for First Nations peoples across the Native Title and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sectors. His strong interest in land and natural hazard management bureaucracies and how they can better empower First Nations peoples stems from an ethnographic honours thesis exploring these themes in south-east Australia. This research has been published in Geoforum.
