The Emergency management sustainable volunteering blueprint: Interim action plan

The purpose of this Interim action plan is to provide a basis for tangible action at the national scale that supports the development of the sustainable volunteering agenda. The actions have been selected as priorities by the AFAC Volunteer Management Technical Group (VMTG). The actions and tasks outlined in this document will be used to inform implementation by the VMTG and Australian and New Zealand fire and state emergency services agencies over an 18-month period. This is not intended to be final plan but a foundation on which the allocated owners of proposed activities within these actions can shape to meet their agendas. It also provides a mechanism for supporting focused activities that build towards the longer-term strategic outcomes needed.
