About

Lara is a Research Services Project Officer, based at the Melbourne Node Research office.

Lara supports the implementation of the Centre’s programs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from the Australian National University. Her background includes experience in project coordination, research and monitoring and evaluation within the humanitarian and development sectors internationally. She has also worked with local government in Victoria, focusing on emergency management and recovery. 

Now based in regional Victoria, Lara is passionate about empowering communities to lead inclusive, people-centred and data-driven disaster risk reduction and recovery efforts.
